An amazing opportunity to explore the museum at night! To celebrate the International
Year of Forests 2011 Teramundi Theatre will conjure up a magical and mysterious world of woodland trees and creatures with shadow puppets and storytelling. In the museum marvel at the story of the land and people of the region, and follow in their footsteps by looking out for the fossilised footprints left by prehistoric animals! There will be something for everyone with displays of the Solway wildlife; tools and weapons of our earliest ancestors; stone carvings by Scotland’s first Christians; and everyday items from the Victorian farm, workshop, and home.
