This is a one-off chance to celebrate and learn about the amazing life of Donald McBeath, a true man of the hills whose abilities opened the door to many different experiences. He is known as the father of the Atholl Highlanders and lead a life so fascinating, it is still being celebrated 100 years after his death. McBeath was a dedicated game keeper for 50 years, and he was also admired by Queen Victoria for his heroic efforts in battle. Come along to learn more about the triumphant Highlander through Atholl Country Life Museum’s brand new exhibition about this home-grown hero!
